completion coupon - online and in store??

I've received my completion coupons for BRU and Target. On both registries there are items that are in-store only and online only. I know that you have to use the coupon on one day but was curious if anyone knows if you can use them in-store and online in the single day - or if one-day really just means one check-out?

    When I used my bridal registry completion coupon at Target (and other store %-off coupons there), it's been same-day, not one transaction. I've never tried to use them online, but I would guess as long as it's the same day, you are good.

    On the coupons, they say online and in-store for one day. It should work just fine as long as its on the same day!
