Just curious? Weight gain at 20 weeks????

Hey. I have gained about 21 pounds thus far at 20.5 weeks. Just wondering if that is average or a crazy amount? thanks in advance. I'm feeling large. LOL

I also gained about 20-21 lbs by 20 weeks, I started at 125 lbs and I am now 175 lbs at 30 weeks! :-o The babies are at a good weight and my boobs alone probably weigh about 5 lbs each! hahaha

Twenty-one pounds sounds like a healthy, acceptable amount. I have read that many doctors encourage 40 to 50 pounds for the whole twin pregnancy -- so you sound like you are at a good halfway point.

That being said, I am 21 weeks and have gained 8 to 10 pounds. I seem to have lost any flab I had on me and it has gone to the babies. The downside is that I am now malproportioned -- I am all belly and am having trouble getting comfortable.

yeah that sounds about right...i had gained around 20 pounds by 20 weeks! i gained 80 in all!:(

Sounds good to me. I worked hard to gain 20 lbs. by 20 weeks and teh later I went into the pregnancy I didn't have to work so hard. I gained 47 total by delivery at 36 weeks. I left teh hospital 20 lbs lighter and I am still about 20 lbs overweight (sad but true!). I think it sounds like you are right on track!
