I pieced, basted, quilted and sewed on the binding Monday while DH and Noah were OOT and I was sick, then I hand-stitched the binding while watching approximately 2 seasons of Lost yesterday....
.
It's for a sweet baby love named Olivia June (who, btw, was born Tuesday and unfortunately has been under bili-lights for the past day- and only comes to her mom every FOUR hours to BF- is that normal?! That seems so far between feedings for a newborn!!).
Anyways- here's her quilt! It's made from Kona coal and an It's a Hoot charm pack. It's on it's way to TX tomorrow along with some cube crayons in a cute bag for Olivia's older brother Roan!

I think Noah likes it...

Super impressed, as always! When I grow up, I want to be like you!
What a lucky little baby to get that quilt - I hope he's out of the lights soon!
How do you find the time?! You are a.maz.ing.
4 hours seems a bit much. the one night Max was sleeping in the nursery, he was brought to me every 3 hours, and that 3 hours included the time I was feeding him (so like if he nursed for 45 mins starting at midnight, he was still brought at 3am.) Maybe her weight is not as much of a concern as her treatment?
Yeah she's a little chunker (or, at least, over 8lbs) so that must be it!

Absolutely beautiful! Hope Olivia can get out from under those lights soon!
and, uh, when will you be opening up for orders, lady!?
You're so talented!!
beautiful!
and to the other question, ya 4 hours seems a bit long. DS had bad jaundice and we did the lights at home, but i had to feed him at least every 2 hours around the clock, even if it ment waking him up.
hahah Not anytime soon considering I start my new (2nd!) job on Tuesday! Anyway, I don't feel "qualified" to sell quilts! I'm not a real quilter or anything!

Well, you fake it quite impressively, then!
Really beautiful!
wtf?
Do I need to link up some Regretsy finds to make you aware of what people will purchase regardless of certification or talent?
