I am curious when the appointments go from just weight, urine, blood pressure tummy measurement checks to actually checking your cervix etc.
I have an Ultrasound on Tuesday and am told if everything looks good that will be my last one, so just wondering what to expect from here.

This.
My last pregnancy my OB never did them.
This pregnancy my new OB starts them at 36 weeks.
I'm almost 35 weeks, and my appointment lasted literally 1 minute today. Weight, pee, doppler, and "see ya next week!" The dr did tell me I had to do the strep test next week though.
I'm kinda pissed since I did (tried to do) the whole shaving thing today. For nothing!!
This. My midwife doesn't see the point in doing them.
My office doesn't do them and doesn't see the need to do them until your due date. My doctors think that it causes unneeded stress on the patient. Also, they aren't that pleasant for a lot of people.
I didn't have it done until my due date last time and I had nothing. Then when I was induced I got checked so many times I vowed that I didn't want to know next time until I was actually in labor.
This is my plan!
Ditto.
Mine has not mentioned when they start doing them, if they do them at all before your due date.
I already had my group b strep test like 10 weeks ago when I had an overnight stay at L&D for pre-e testing when they also just went ahead and did the nasty orange drink blood test for GD, so at least I dont have that to stress about getting the strep b swab. Honestly I think it was better I was caught off guard and told 5 mins before they were doing it then and there from the nurse, otherwise I would have been dreading my 35/36 week apt which is when they usually do them at my ob office. It wasnt as bad as it sounded, it took like 30 seconds.
