For margaritas on the rocks (better than frozen, IMO), I would recommend a smooth tequila like Patron. There are different grades, silver, gold, etc. and the lower grades are not that expensive.
Jose Cuervo or preferably Sauza is fine for margarita's (I prefer Patron or Reposado (sp) 1800). Just don't go with tequila in a plastic bottle....most of that is nasty sh!t.

Thanks for the recs! I think we drank El Torro back in the college days and I really don't want to relive the hangover it would provide.
