So Tomm i will be 8DPO and 3days before expected AF and even though it's a tad bit too early to test i'm having MH go to the store tonight and get a blue dye test. I'm afraid if i am KU that it will take twice as long to get a + with a pink test like it was when i was KU with DD.
Has anyone else had better results with a blue vs pink or pink vs blue?
Re: TESTS
I have heard this too... but if you go to the hospital, they use the blue dye tests... I dunno really how different they are... maybe you should pee on both and see what they say??
Let us know!

I have heard this a lot but when i got pregnant with DD the blue ones came up first then the pink ones (usually dollar store) came up faint then got darkerand darker along with the blue. But i know if i want a urine test to be done to see if i'm pregnant i need the pink ones to show because that's what they use at the clinic here. When i got pregnant with DD the red ones were pretty ok to see (First response) but the dollar store ones were worse and i think thats what they used because they called saying it was inconclusive so i got a blood test to conform a +
Everyone else has covered why the pink tests are better than the blue dye tests, but I also wanted to add this

I really have no idea or experience with the matter. I do however have a friend that was trying for 1 1/2 yrs. Charting, temping, etc FWIW she got a + on a FRER at 9dpo
::shrugs::
This is what i'm hoping for even a faint line will work for me lol
This. And, I have a feeling you know this already. Otherwise, you would have simply told us that he was going to get a test (with no specification) for you.
Yep. I think so too.
Yep she does but she just wants to see those two lines and is willing to experience heartbreak over it. Don't worry she'll come back and tell us all about it
I do, just wondering if everyone had a preference, Mine is blue even though the reviews are bad my experience in the past wasn't a false positive and i've taken them in the past 6months i have been trying and always negative.
So she can rub it in someone's face once she does get her BFP.
Maybe it's because I'm hungry, but I'm so confused. If you know blue dye tests give false positives and aren't as reliable, then what exactly are you asking, and why?
This whole post doesn't make a whole lot of sense, I wouldn't worry about it.
I'm confused as to why no one is running screaming from this post about the ridiculousness of testing at 8 DPO, pink or blue dye aside.
Because she started testing at like 3 or 4dpo...
Because I was impressed because she used vowels this time. I let the early testing slide for good behavior.

Pink Dye, Blue Dye, Purple Dye doesn't make a difference in how quickly a test will show positive, but the sensitivity of the test will make a difference. You want a test that can detect 25 miu/ml.

Oh and ne1 else think that Tomm was the name of her husband the first time they read this?

Thanks for the site, I'll read up on this
I would love if someone would elaborate on this one for me.
LMAO YES! I was like, wait, did her husband ovulate too? Definitely had to reread it a few times. But I've had to reread pretty much everything she's written, so...
Maybe it has something do with vowels, but I'm leaning more towards the punctuation factor.
ETA: spelling
I don't think we have talked before, but I must say I love you. I saw another post of yours about her and it confirmed. I am a fan!
MrsH, Busybee is awesome!
