We're Home! (and a picture)

We were released this morning from the hospital and got home about 11 a.m. Kari is awesome - she BFs like a champ (to the point that the nurses looked at me like crazy when I had to tell them she'd been at the boob for an hour or longer) and I can't wait til my milk comes in and she actually has milk to eat.

She weighed 7 lbs. 3 oz. this morning when her pediatrician checked her over and released her. I'm now 15 pounds lighter (yahoo!) and a completely different kind of tired - but she is worth it. Yesterday I was a little emotional, just dealing with all the people, lack of sleep, medication, and just post-partum in general I guess. I'm feeling much better today, but I'm going to go catch a nap while Kari does.

Thanks so much, Cristina, for posting for me. Everything happened really quick, and it's probably a good thing your phone was dead since I slept pretty much the whole time before delivery. You might have been going bonkers if I didn't ever reply much!

And thanks to you girls for your kind wishes and just being here in general. You girls rock, and I feel really lucky to "know" such a great group of women!
