Advil question

I'll preface this by saying this may well be a dumb question and if so, feel free to tell me to piss off or that google is my friend.

That being said...

I've heard (and read in the newbie FAQs) that you should abstain from taking advil when TTC. This hasn't been a problem for me, except that this morning I was in such agony from cramps that I totally caved. :(  Do people generally think that *any* advil while TTC is an issue or that taking it for the first day or two of AF shouldn't be a problem b/c it should be out of your system by the time implantation time rolls around again? I usually stay away from OTC pain meds except for the first day of AF to take the edge off crazy cramping.

    The concern, I believe, is mostly during the luteal phase as it can mess with implantation (thins your blood)

    During AF you should be just fine. I'm sure two advil or so aren't going to hurt. Pick up some tylenol next time you're out- acetametophin is fine to take while TTC.
