3rd Trimester

For those of you 32 weeks and beyond...

Today, I woke up feeling MAJORLY hormonal!

I've already cried twice...beginning to feel like I can't breath, swear my tummy has grown again and just feel crampy and very uncomfortable...as if my period is about to start.

Did any of you experience this? Does this even out or stay this way? Any other suggestions or observations?

TIA!

  • For me, it comes and goes.  I am usually very uncomfortable now and I cry anytime something doesn't go my way or anytime I think about seeing my lo.  This past week the cramping has really started.  My doctor told me that as long as it isn't all the time and can't be mapped out then i am fine.

  • I have felt much more emotional these past few weeks than I have the entire pregnancy. At 33 weeks I really started to feel uncomfortable and this week I have reached a whole new level of discomfort. I think I will stay this way until I give birth.

  • I was more emotional around 20some weeks, but that doesnt mean that if you yell at me that I wont break down, because I totally will.

Cramping has been a problem for me since pretty much day one.  If I dont drink enough water, try walking to fast or jump (if you call what I do jumping) off the couch baby will let me know that I need to slow down.  I get them right above my hairline on the right side and they tend to stop me dead in my tracks. They feel like I just drank a big glass of water and then ran up and down the block (remember those type of cramps you use to get when you were a kid??) My doctor says everything is fine and that I need to slow down and start doing things a little differently...my bodies way different than it was 8 months ago...shoot, its a lot different than it was 1 month ago.

  • That's weird.  That's exactly how I felt yesterday.  I do feel a little better today, but I swear my belly grows an inch every night and I have absolutely NO energy to do anything.

  • I noticed a marked difference in my mood beginning around 30wks. It has come and gone since then, so I definitely have good and bad days. I don't know about anyone else, but I am now in what feels like a perpetual fog at times. Not that I'm tired, per se, just can't seem to connect two thoughts together for whole days at a time. I'm sure hormones are the culprit, but again there are good and bad days. Hope you feel better!
  • I have been super irritable and emo but it didnt kick in until 35 wks.  I think most of it is my Dr making me do all kinds of testing and u/s and just generally stressing me out for no reason.  I was cruising along just fine and dandy until then.

  • I'm not super emotional but I do feel that I am getting agitated much easier. My patience is thin and I just can't stand any drama. I guess this is due to hormones. I am crampy on and off and tired all the time:(
