Baby Furniture Sales?

Anyone have any idea whether baby furniture is expected to go on sale anytime soon? We missed the Thanksgiving Day and Cyber Monday sales because I didn't want to purchase any furniture that early in the pregnancy. I thought things would go on sale after Christmas, but so far, that doesn't seem to be the case. I would like to start buying furniture and setting up the nursery soon, but don't want to purchase everything and then find out we could have saved $500 or so if we waited until X day.

Anyone know if there are usually sales on baby furniture anytime soon?

    The only place I have seen stuff on sale was at jcp.com. They had a super cute crib, changing table and dresser on sale for $800 normally it was like $1500 or something that that effect. I know its still expensive, but for all that i didnt think it was too bad.

    You can check with your local BRU.  They usually have an idea of when their sales cycle.  Once you are on their mailing list you can get coupons.

    I'd be on the lookout in January.

    I was at Ikea yesterday and got my little man a really nice dresser for 150. I dont think that was a sale price but their stuff is really nice. I'm going back for a changing table for 70 dollars next time I get paid.
