I've been POAS since CD11 when I noticed that the consistency of my CM changed. I haven't had anything that I would call as positive, but the pee stick of CD12 had the darkest line I've got so far, and they've gotten progressively lighter over the past few days. Yesterday's sticks were the lightest. Based on my CM, I don't think I O'ed yet, but is it possible for LH levels to go up early in my cycle and then down before a surge?
It occurred to me that my urine could've been diluted in the past few days, so to counteract this, I've been trying to hold it in for a couple of hours now before testing for the first time today (it's 11:30 AM where I am). I've read around here that some ladies hold it in for 3 - 4 hours - how do you do this? I'm about to explode!
Re: Question about OPKs
I've had to start using OPK's twice daily because I've missed my surge a couple of times in the past. Usually I'll do one around noon and then around 8pm and I was able to catch it that way. This past cycle I had more luck catching my surge around noon than later in the day.
Could you have perhaps missed it on CD12?

It's possible and I only tested once that day because my CM was "sticky". My CM changed on Tuesday to watery and again to EW yesterday. The EWCM is still here today (more than yesterday). I started testing twice a day on Tuesday, thinking that my surge was on its way.
I'm sort of in the same boat. Been testing since CD 8 (several times a day) and still no +. I've only had 2 days of WCM so I am holding out hope that I am just in for a long ride this cycle
Good Luck!!!
