1st Birthday Party Themes....

Blayne's post got me thinking about what theme I want for G's 1st birthday...I had thought for awhile of doing something like this baby Einstein theme...but now I am not sure....kinda looks boyish...

What theme did you/or are you planning on doing for your LO's first bday....Extra points for those who add Links or PsIP!!!

I don't have a baby yet, but if I had a girl, since I love monkeys...I might go for something like THIS it's the girly version of the traditional Mod Monkey. Nicole mentioned it one time, I googled it and I loved it.

Not gonna lie, have yet to think about it. It makes me sad since I will be back to work at that time, and don't really want to think about when I go back.

It was a no-brainer for us to have a Ladybug theme for Hayden's 1st. We've been calling her "Hady-bug the ladybug" since before she was born ;-) I recently saw an owl-themed party that said "look WHOOOO's one". I thought it was pretty cute. I thought I had another idea...if I think of it I will ETA.

I am looking at the owl theme. Here is the invite I liked from Etsy. There is a ton of other cute stuff on there too. We call Briley baby Bee and she has a ton of Bee stuff, so I almost feel bad not going with the Bee theme but the owl is so darn cute!

I'm probably going to do monkeys since that has been our theme with Caroline since before we even knew she was Caroline. I'll find something new for her second birthday

1st Birthday was Cupcakes with the Giant Wilton cupcake as her smash cake and colors/ paper products in this theme. It was really easy & fun.

2nd birthday is going to be a Sesame Street theme. I'm supposed to wait until after New Years to start planning, but, I have some ideas already. I want to go with the full Street, not just Abby or Elmo. My second choice would be Mickey Mouse Clubhouse. I think that would be a really easy theme to pull off.
