Hi! I have a question that might be dumb but I don't know too much about it yet. Just started TTC 2 months ago and bought OPK one month ago. I started testing after my last AF and still have not detected a positive, my next AF is supposed to be in 5 or so days. Is it possible to not ovulate? I was on birth control for 7 years and stopped about 2 1/2 months ago, does that have any effect on it?
Thanks, I appreciate the help!
Re: Still no O
The first cycle I tried using OPK's I did not get a positive even though my temps showed that I o'd. I was testing twice a day and must have missed my surge. This month I've been testing 3 times a day and definitely caught it this time. It is also possible to get multiple positives and then not o (happened to me this cycle).
Like the other girls suggested I would check out Fertility Friend and watch the lessons. They are really helpful in making you understand how your body works.
Good Luck!

It is recommended to test between 2pm - 4pm to catch your surge but I found this month that I usually caught mine later in the evening around 6pm. However, I tested this morning with FMU and it turned positive as the urine passed over the line so who knows.

PPs had a lot of great insight! I usually test once a day until I see the line start to get darker, then 2-3x a day until I see a positive. I usually get my first positive either with FMU or around noon.
Regarding OPKs being expensive, you can get cheapies online from a few different places. Here is what I've been getting. They aren't digital, but I haven't had any trouble with them.
