I think this clomid cycle is a bust :(

50mg clomid worked perfectly for me TTC#1 but I'm on my 1st cycle to TTC#2 & CD19 w/ no O, no +opk & no significant fertile CM.  Crying  here I thought we had a solution to my problem & TTC would be easier the 2nd time around.  I guess that's what I get for feeling confident.  DH tries to reassure me that when we're meant to have another one, we will, but I still feel shitty that my ovaries are defective.  I was obsessing all week over my opk's & today I don't think I'll even bother taking one unless I get some ewcm.  I call my dr's office tomorrow to discuss where I go from here.  My guess is provera to induce AF & up my dose to 100mg.  I don't wanna take the provera again since I gave me diarhea last time, but a girls gotta do what a girls gotta do.

    I'm sorry. Sometimes the low dose isn't enough to work for some women. Also, not everyone gets fertile CM while on Clomid. It does have a possible s/e of drying up CM. I hope you get some answers from your doctor! GL to you.

    I guess this go around my body just isn't responding to the lower dose.  I got plenty of ewcm & O'd on 50mg last time but my body is going to make me work harder for it the 2nd time.  not looking fwd to the hot flashes either & whatever other s/e a higher dose might give me.

    my dr is out of the office today so won't be able to ask any ?'s until tomorrow.  I will be honest, I don't see an RE, just my obgyn, so I'm not monitored Surprise I know many would say that's a no-no but that's the way it is.  I know as a rule they don't monitor, but my dr is really excellent, so he might oblige me & even code it differently to get it by insur.

    thanks :)  she is the joy of our life & we do feel truly blessed to have her.  i'm sure we'll figure out a solution to our current IF troubles, but if worse came to worse, we have one beautiful & healthy baby girl to adore.

    I thought you'd say that because I remember you from when you were TTC #1. I'm glad it worked out for you then. You seem really down this cycle though. So I hope you will truly consider requesting to be monitored properly. It will make you feel better to really  know what it going on in there. Not to mention how much safer it is.

    What time of day do you take your clomid? I took 50mg at night and had hot flashes and this month I was bumped up to 100mg and took it in the morning. My hot flashes weren't as bad and I didn't have any new side effects with the higher dose. Hope this helps! GL
