Not going to be able to help with the warmer question since I didn't use one...BUT I used these bottles with DS and they have a lot of pieces to wash (which I started hating month after month of washing!) and if you don't put the pieces together just right they will leak. They didn't do that all of the time but it did happen. Another BUT, DS never had bad gas or upset from getting bubbles in his stomach so I guess they did there job!

This. My roommate ended up going out and buying new bottles because they leaked so badly.
We used the VentAir at first and they do get a lot of good reviews BUT we switched to Dr. Browns and they worked a lot better. My kid was a REALLY big spitter, so the less air in his belly, the better.

THIS. A THOUSAND TIMES THIS. By the time your baby is a few weeks old, you won't want to be washing out those bottles all day long. We started with them but switched to Coddlelife bottles when we got tired of cleaning a billion pieces. Coddlelife worked great for our son- there's even a very simple venting system so he doesn't get gassy!

THIS! We used the drop ins and that was great. No leaks, no washing 1000 parts with little crevises (sp?). The vent-airs lasted a week or 2 before I gave up. And Mylicon is great for gas if that is a problem.
We used the ventair bottles and although they had a lot of parts, we liked them! We would just take them all apart and throw the small parts in the dishwasher basket. We found that if you lay them out to dry on a towel to dry all the way, they didn't leak. One thing we did was have enough for two days worth of feedings. This way when one set was in the dishwasher we still had plenty for the next day.
I really liked these bottles. Well, I should say my daughter really liked them. I don't think there are too many parts to clean and we never had a problem with them leaking. At first we used the Medela bottles that came with our pump but then we needed to switch to a bigger bottle. Our DD didn't like the nipples of a couple different brands, so Playtex it was. We never used a bottle warmer or steralizer so I'm not sure about that.
We used the Ventaires and I think they have just as many parts as Dr. Browns. I like that it all comes apart so I can get them really clean and we never had an issue with bottles leaking. We loved these bottles and will use them for baby #2.
I used these for DS and he still has 2 bottles left that he uses. it really isn't that many pieces. it's the ring, nipple, bottle, vent piece and bottom piece. it may sound like a lot but it's really not. i can wash his bottles in like 5 minutes (not for 2 bottles, that's for like 8) he had really bad acid reflux and we used the drop ins at first but soon switched to these and he did really really well with them. I actually got dr browns this time for the new baby but would be willing to use these bottles again. they were great.
