DH got the job!

I am not 100% sure I like the idea, but as I said before I am very resistant to change. He will make a little more, benefits aren't clear to me, and vacation is par for the course for retail. I think the benefits are a little more per week but might have a lower deduct. IF IF IF he quits smoking and can pass a nicotine test he gets a substantial credit each week on health insurance.....this is huge but he has to quit (he says it has been 2 weeks, he is using the electronic cigarette thing).

He will no longer have weekends off, hopefully he will have at least 1 weekend day off though.

I hope he is happy with the new job, he deserves to be doing what he may enjoy....especially since I am now!

congrats to your H!

hope this is the kick in the butt he needs to quit smoking... cheaper health insurance would be way worth it. That plus how much he'd save not smoking... I can NOT believe how much $ a pack of cigarettes are!

that's great news! Has he tried chantix? it really works. My dad used it for 2 months and quit smoking after 40 years. To me not having weekends off isn't that big of a deal since I've been doing it for 3 years. I like not putting the kids in daycare for 40+ hours a week but you don' have that problem.
