yes, I registed today with BBB and BRU for baby #2. So what if its another girl. We need another baby monitor, we want an Ergo Performance, an infant insert and a car seat mirror. The funny thing is that I sorted through all of DD's clothing and I cannot find the 0-3 months clothing. So, I will put a few things on there too in terms of clothing. I will not tell anyone but family about it, but its easier for my IL to get stuff for us that way and its way cheaper in the US than here in Israrel!

Who else registers for #2 and what do you still need?

I have yet to register for #2 and not sure I will be. As of right now I can not think of anything that we need except maybe a double stoller. My cousin gave us her son's crib, changing table, dresser and high chair. Just depending on the sex we would need clothes.

I made one too even though we are having another boy there are things we need and it is an easy place to keep track of it all and you get the dicount at the end. I only told my parents and IL's if anyone asks I will tell them but it was more for me to keep it organized and get the discount.

My sister-in-law offered to throw me a shower since it's a great excuse to get all our family together! And since our boys will be almost 4 year apart, there are lots of things that I don't have anymore or need new of.. So, yes, I did register. Granted, it is a much smaller list than last time and there are no big items on it. But if someone is throwing me a shower, I'd rather people buy me what I need and not just leave it up to them to guess.

i did! i did! and i don't feel the least bit guilty about it. i'm not advertising i have one to people but if someone asks, i'll tell them i did register for ourselves but if they wanted to take a peak, i'm registered at bbb & bru. it's a great way to keep track of what you need, you get the discount, etc. surprisingly, i do need a decent amount and my boys will be 22 months apart. i needed new bottles, pacis, bibs, burp cloths, sheets, bedding, convertible car seat, double stroller, diaper bag, meds, aspirator & thermometer, lotions, etc. it builds up!

i know right!! everyone kept telling me "oh you won't need anything since they're so close together!" that's a load of crap haha. i might not need to go buy an infant car seat, swing, etc. but i still need to get a 2nd car seat (convertible), double strollers are a butt load of money (mine was 540 with a cyber monday deal, normally 679!) and then the little things add up. i know i used DS' pajamas to death so i don't really have any of that stuff either. i just have outfits i can reuse. bibs and burp cloths, i threw those out a long time ago. it's just gross to me to reuse them.

I am in the same boat as you. Mine will be 21 months apart. The only thing that will make this more different is if we are having a girl... I would have to really put some thinking into the bedding and room since they will be sharning one and the clothes as well.. I am not worried for her ( if we do) using a blue infant carrier or a blue swing. lol

I will DEF. be registering with this child YES this is our FOURTH child but our FIRST girl! we have ABSOLUTLEY nothing for this baby! Plus my family gives baby showers for every baby anyone in the family has! Both mine and Dh family will find any excuse to throw a party lol! But this party is DEF going to be a welcome one. We really do need everything!!!!!!!!!!! GL hope you get everything you need!!!

This will be our second girl, 23 months apart, and I just registered the other day. Like PP said, it's easy to keep up with what you need and gave received, and there will be people (esp. family) who will want to give us a gift. I think it's easier all around to say to go to the registry! Plus, again like PP said, there are still things that we need, even tough it's our second girl. In our case, NO new clothes, bud new bedding, some blankets, extra towels and washcloths, etc.

I'm registering, but only for the discount. I need a new infant seat, some bottles, pacifiers, and maybe a new boppy. My family and friends typically buy gifts for the 2nd baby, 3rd baby etc., but it's usually a cute outfit.

You don't have to explain yourself to us! I think you would get flamed if you were planning on hosting your own 2nd baby shower. If someone offers to give you one, that's a different story.

DH & I started registering for baby #2 & we're having another girl. We only registered for simple things like newborn clothes because we don't have any of DD #1's newborn clothes. Also we added those mirrors to our list. We didn't put a lot of things on our list. My older brother & his fiance have offered to throw us a baby shower, mainly because he wasn't here for DD #1's baby shower & birth.

When I read the title I thought the post was about sushi or something. We are going to be registering, its something fun and it gives people an idea on what you a re looking for. With this being #2 there isn't going to be lots of things on there, especially if our Chick Pea is a girl.
