Mommy phase already?

in Babies: 3 - 6 Months
My daughter is only 3 1/2 months old.  She is starting to get clingy and cries when her daddy is holding her or if I try to leave her line of sight.  For background, she has pretty severe reflux and a milk allergy, which makes her fussy almost all of the time.  Isn't she too young to be going through the Mommy phase?  When does it normally start?  I'm too tired to be the only one that can hold her.  Thanks.  :)

    I think its possible. My DS absolutely loves hanging out with his momma. I don't think he has it as severely as your DD does because my hubby can carry him, SOMETIMES. He perfers me. Does your hubby work a lot?

    it's just a phase, it'll pass before you know it.

    ((hugs)) to you for the lack of sleep though, DD1 didn't sleep for a year and it sucked big time.  are you able to nap during the day at all?

    I think we started the Mommy phase 2 weeks ago.  While I love that she wants me I do feel bad for DH.  I think he has been feeling left out b/c she was obsessed with him before this.
