DS2 runs to the bathroom every time I change his diaper, saying, "Go potty...Go potty". Then he sits and usually pees or poops. It just seems so soon and I'm not sure I'M ready yet, even though DS1 was about the same age when he PT'd. DS2 just seems littler to me. And I'm lazier now.

So, would you do it now? Any harm in waiting a bit longer?
DS1 10-06 and DS2 9-08 and baby #3 EDD 9-05-12

Re: This is a sign I should think about PTing, isn't it?
Yeah... it sounds like you're in a nice window of opportunity to try (sorry!) I might try it for a bit, and if it isn't an easy transition wait a few more months. I'd hate to not *reward* his current interest/enthusiasm about using the toilet and body awareness...
yeah, it's a PITA, but maybe he'll be super-easy to train b/c he's already so clued in. Just think of what you could buy with all that diaper money!!!
Go with it....so much easier in the long run & cheaper too.
He doesn't usually tell me whe he has to go. It's more just when I change him. He Ikea sitting on there though and almost always does something. He was constipated (TMI) a few weeks ago and insisted on only going on the toilet. He kept trying until he was able to do it.
My mom is watching them overnight this coming week and after that Ithink I will try staying in for a few days and trying. If it works, great, if not, no big deal either.
