I applied for a job a few weeks ago with a major company here in the Milwaukee area. Fabulous company, always written up for being such a wonderful place to work, friends who work there agree and when I saw this job opening I was so psyched! I meet all the required qualifications (and then some!) plus the job expectations are exactly what I'm looking for as I move forward in my career.
Sunday night I get an email from one of their in-house executive recruiters to contact her to set up a phone interview for this week. I called her Monday to respond and left a voicemail. Follow-up email on Tuesday. No response. Ummm, hello??
Since all of my files have been re-assigned I have little work and am just sitting here obsessing (and bumping). Do I call again? I don't want to come off as psycho, but seriously, where is she????
Re: HR ladies (or anyone else that's bored) a ? . . . I'm stumped!
Any chance she has a few days off this week. It is a pretty slow week for many companies and some people have to use their days off or lose them so maybe that is what is going on. I would be like you and worry about calling too much. However I know a person that got hired at my firm because they were really persistent and the person doing the hiring just had other things going on.
Sorry there isn't much advice in there.
After two losses, third time was a charm.

I thought that too initially, but her email specifically mentioned doing the interview on Tuesday or Wednesday of this week. Hmmmmmmm. I'll likely call again today, just overthinking things!
