We would like to go to Vegas for our best couple friend's baby shower but we live in FL and that would be a heck of a long two travel days, what's the longest your LO can tolerate?
He's been to Buffalo and Baltimore but those are a little under 3 hr flights.
Re: What's the longest flight your LO has been on?
Well we did not have much choice-so 17 hours but she was a baby. And 6 hour when she was older.Snacks, Dvd's, new toys and try and see if you can get a flight that is near bedtime or naptime. Also I think that if you can swing it-get him his own seat.
Good luck
Thanks, we'll see.
We are heading to Baltimore in Jan, so we'll see how that goes before making any bid decisions. The last flight we took he was 11.5 months and that was taxing before he was even walking.
9 hour overseas flight when he was 6 months, 8 months and 16 months. We took his carseat, lots of new toys (small, quiet toys), snacks and his bottle/sippy, his blanket and pacifier. I found that for the first flight when I was anxious, he was more fussy but still did well. By the last time when I was more confidant flying with him, we were both much calmer and had an enjoyable flight. He has always been very social and really enjoyed "talking" to and waving to people on the flight.
7 hours plus a 2 hr layover and another 2 hour flight...that was a long day.
Single flight? 16 hours.
In one trip - 2 flights, 22 hours plus a 4-ish hour layover and a 2 hour car ride after landing. We went from Baltimore to Sydney. E was 14 months old and it was totally fine.
