When to do a 3D ultrasound?

Is it too late for me? I am 29 weeks tomorrow.

I did not have one with my 1st baby, but I am really having a hard time dealing with my changing body and weight gain this time. I have gained 28 pounds already and I am letting this put me in a bad mood and ruin my pregnancy. I am thinking if I can see the baby, that might put things back into focus for me about what is important.

I did an elective one at 24 weeks and it turned out really well. I got a few 3d pics today at my 28 week u/s at the doctor and it was harder because she had less room in there but still got some good facial photos. I would do it as soon as possible!

My doc does them for the 30 week growth scan.

I had one at 33. Most people on here said they never saw pics so clear and good.

There were right on the line of 33 weeks. I wasn't going to get one, but the tech just does it for fun.

My doc said 28-32 weeks was the best time, ideally 29-30 weeks. I'll be 29w3d for mine next Mon.

I had mine at 28 weeks and did not get a good picture.

I'm going in the Morning! The tech told me 28-29 weeks is what she considers optimal time.

I've had weekly bpp's and have gotten 3d/4d pics with each one. I had one at 29w but didn't take a pic but here are the pics from 28w. I have to say that almost all of the pics have been good, even with a hand or cord in front of her face they have been able to dial in to get rid of it.
