Charting Question

Okay so last night aunt flo came to visit at 10pm but not full throttle.. but she sure was there this morning.. so my question is with charting everything which day do i count as day 1 for my period... Dec 29th or 30th? Do I do it the first sign of blood or when its niagra falls?

    It's the first day of a bright red flow....even if it's light.  If you have to use a tampon or pad it CD1.  Spotting doesn't count.  HTH!

    Anything besides spotting is flow and should be counted as the first day.  I also don't count hours of the day, but my sleep schedule.  So if I go to bed and wake up at 11PM with AF, then I count that the next day since I had gone to sleep.  That might not be the right way, that's just how I do it!

    In your case, I would count niagra.

    I agree with the ladies above, I also believe if you mark spotting on your chart it will not start a new cycle, it will not do that until you at least mark low as your flow.
