EEK! We go to a children's clinic with several doctors in practice, and 2 used to be married. I had heard they split up, but not any more than that. I was just looking through our insurance claims for the year and it shows who we saw when. Apparently the wife went back to her maiden name-Slaughter. Ummm, I think I'd either keep the married name or just change completely if it were me. "Hi, I'm Dr. Slaughter-your pediatrician" just seems odd to me! LOL!

Yikes. I'd keep my married name.
My aunt kept her married name after going through a divorce because it was such a cute name that went well with her first name.

Haha, one of the surgeons I work with is Dr. Hacker....for real. He's a great doctor but has a unfortunate last name in his business.

I taught a student with the last name, Killing. I never thought about it before, but it would be strange to see Dr. Killing!
