1. How many weeks were you when you found out the sex of your LO?
2. How sure was the doctor?
I'm having an elective U/S at the end of my 15th week and then having another one at 18 weeks. But with my last pregnancy I didn't even have a U/S until 20 weeks I believe.
Re: Boy/Girl
With DS our anatomy scan was at 19 weeks and we found out then. With this one we found out at 20 weeks.
Both times the technician was 100% sure of the sex.
My older sister found out at 17 weeks with her daughter.
With my first, I was 20 weeks and with this one I was 19 weeks.
With both, our tech was 100% they were both boys and I agreed based on the dangly penis looking thing between the cute little legs
We found out yesterday via an elective 3D/4D ultrasound. The tech (who has been doing this longer than I've been alive) said she would not say unless she was certain. She said there's no point in saying anything if she can only be 70% sure or whatever. But, lo and behold, our little girl (which will still be confirmed at week 20) is on her way!

40 weeks.
She was pretty sure.
My anatomy scan was at 19w4d. At the beginning of the appointment, we told the tech we wanted her to write down the sex and put it in an envelope for us to open on Christmas. At the end of the appointment when she said she was off to "arts and crafts" to put together our note, I asked her if she was certain and she said she wouldn't write it down if she wasn't. This is what we opened on Christmas

We had an elective u/s at 15wk5d and it was very easy to tell we are having a baby boy! No doubt about it
