round ligament pain is no joke.

wow. i haven't really had it until today. i can't walk, sneeze, cough or laugh without feeling tightening and a stabbing pain all down the left side of my uterus. i was peeing at target and couldn't stand up straight after b/c it hurt so bad...now 3 hrs later i feel like i pulled a muscle and it isn't comfortable to do much of anything.

 oh baby! you must be getting bigger.

    I'm so glad I read this because last night I was watching tv and got up to pee and when I stood up to wipe I couldn't even stand up straight I had such shooting pain down the left side of my uterus. Afterward it hurt for like an hour and felt like a pulled muscle. I was really worried, but now it seems it was round ligament pain. I didn't know it could hurt to bad! Thanks for posting!

    Oh yeah! I get stuck on the couch sometimes cause I cant move to get up! Its not a fun thing. It will however get better in the 3rd tri. Well mind did with last 2 DS's.

    Good timing.  A similar thing happened to me just last night, in fact.  I was lying in bed on my side and DH was making me laugh pretty hard.  After a few minutes, the left side of my uterus started to hurt like crazy and I had to tell him to stop making me laugh because it felt like I was pulling a muscle pretty badly.  My ligaments killed after that and the area is still a bit tight and sore today.

    Oh well Im about 16 weeks and Ive been having that for about 1 week or so and it scared me and today I asked the Doctor if that was normal and I was relieved to hear it was and I feel you. Sneezing, coughing, and standing from sitting are my worsts!
