NIFR: help with personal shower/panty party

Help!!

I am throwing a personal shower/badh party for my bestie

and fun games you know of

she's not a prudie BUT does not want atypical party

no penis, strippers etc...

we are doing dif wines and champagnes etc..... appetizers and deserts

anyone know of a cute poem for the invite?

I HAVE to get the evites done ASAP, and appreciate all the help i can get from you creative ladies!

    Ideas:

    bowling?  even rollerskating- sure to be a laugh

    sleepover- with popcorn, desserts, wine- maybe a mary kay consultant to do professional manis/pedis and a little foot massage... have the bride to be bring a movie or two - one that reminds her of her girlfriends, one that reminds her of her fiance

    have a cutely decorated notebook for all the guests to share their words of wisdom about married life, etc ;-)

    indoor camping- indoor smores (can just microwave them or buy an indoor smores kit- include reese's pb cups, etc, different flavor marshmallows), do some of the old things you did at sleepovers as a teenager- 'light as a feather stiff as a board', truth or dare, etc..

    we had a honeymoon party for my old asst manager... and she loved it.  it wasn't all that penis stuff....

    unfortunately don't have any poem ideas.... but we just spent the night hanging out, drinking wine, etc. nothing too stuffy...

    Jennifer TTC #1 Dx PCOS 2009 Apr, Aug, and Sept tried clomid cycles.... BFN. Oct...DH SA results were normal. Me...HSG - left tube was clear, right tube was slightly blocked. Dec - Clomid #4 200mg Feb 2010 - IUI #1 200mg Clomid = BFN. June 2010 - IUI #2 200mg Clomid = BFN. March 2011 - IUI #3 w/ injectables = BFN (1st & last with RE, moving on to IVF). July 2011 - consult for IVF. Sept 2011, 1st IVF. Got our BFP on 10/2/11. Became a mom on 5/5/12 to a beautiful baby boy! Baby Birthday Ticker Ticker AlternaTickers - Cool, free Web tickers
