Washing the baby bumpers?

I have two sets of bumpers, breathable and the plushier decorative kind- I have a question about washing the thicker one.

The directions say wash on gentle cycle and tumble dry on low. I am afraid of it falling apart or losing it's vibrant color. It's Bananafish brand.

Has anyone washed theirs yet and if so how was the outcome? Guess I'm being paranoid. After washing all my newborn clothes (exactly according to instructions) I think, but Im not sure, that some shrunk. The newborn clothes seem so tiny! I know she'll fit in them for like a day Wink

    wash on cold and gentle and lay outside to dry, or hang dry if you live in the cold.

    and yeah, I think we just forgot how small babies are, the clothes look so itty bitty but they will probably fit longer than we think! :)

    The newborn clothes fit DD#1 for a long time but she was only 5 lbs. I guess it depends on what they weigh when they're born. Big Smile
