Update on my grandmother...

My mom is cutting her trip with us short by almost a week so she can go out to Cali.  My aunt said my grandmother seemed better for about an hour last night and then they took her to ICU.  Apparently all the iv fluids they are giving her to combat her kidney failure/infection/dehydration are causing her to have worsening congestive heart failure.  She has pretty poor heart function as it is.  Her bp dropped and so did her oxygen saturation last night - she has fluid in her lungs.  She's slept most of the day but my uncle who doesn't live there is flying in on Friday and so my mom is going to go as well.  My grandfather has started telling my aunt he hopes she will work on setting up the memorial service because he doesn't know what to do about that.

Very, very sad.
