Another Circumcision Question!

Ok at the risk of sounding ummm-very inexperienced-here I go.

When we got the price list from the dr, he has a listing for circumcision ($400). This inspired a talk b/t DH and I.  DH says he's not circumcised no need to do it. My much younger brother was and I changed alot of his diapers so I saw what he looked like. So after reading all this, I googled uncircumsized penises and DH looks NOTHING like that-EVER at any time. So I asked him if he had to pull it back and clean it, and he said yea all the time when he was a kid but when he got older and went through a growth spurt, he didn't have to.... isn't that weird?  Is that possible? Does he just not have much foreskin? I asked him if he was really sure he wasn't circumcised and he looked at me like I was crazy.  I kinda want to ask his mom but I don't see how that conversation could ever happen!

 BTW-DH says no circumcision if this LO is a boy and I'm fine with that.

    this sounds exactly like my dh. As a matter of fact I didn't know he wasn't when we were first dating. I only found out because he mentioned it in passing. Later after we got pregnant I asked him about it again. Wanted to make sure he was sure and even after that had him ask his mom. He looks like he is circumcised unless he pulls down on his penis and forces any skin forward. I am actually glad to hear you have the same situation because I thought I was crazy.

    It's in the name of research! Anyways, it is quite common for uncircumcised penises to look different, just like circumcised ones. They may have more or less foreskin- generally when you google "foreskin" you're getting pictures of penises that have the "standard" depiction of foreskin- the excess skin making a hood.

    Ha! Seriously!  I was thinking about how I'd never seen an uncircumcised penis in the flesh, but maybe I have?  Interesting.

    LOL! I'll have to try to catch him when he's in the shower tomorrow. JK. Glad I'm not the only one. I thought I'd come back to this and people would think I was crazy or that this was mud.

    I think foreskins come in all shapes and sizes.

    I was reading about some stuff and didn't know there would be pics (of adult men).  Needless to say I was a little surprised.  LOL!  The page didn't look like it was going to have any pics and then whammo full on comparison!

    Yep, they are all different. Just like some circ penises can have a bit of foreskin left over.
