Re: NTR: What's always in your fridge and pantry?

  • Fridge:  Diet A&W Root Beer

Pantry:  Cans of tuna (it's our go-to staple)

  • Loading the player...
  • Fridge- skim milk (MH doesn't drink milk at all), Dickinson's seedless black raspberry jelly, blueberries, pre-made hard boiled eggs (they come already cooked & peeled)

Pantry- Little Debbie's Cosmic brownies for when I need a PMS choc fix (I normally don't even like chocolate), Fiber One bars, Crystal Lite Raspberry Lemonade mix, and a mixture of Special K Protein Plus & Smart Start Healthy Heart cereal.

MH has his own "goodie drawer" that I fill for him with his own stuff he likes to eat.

  • Fridge: Diet Coke, Coke, Bottled water, yogurt, shredded cheese, and packs of applesauce.

Pantry - Nutrigrain bars, Tuna lunch kits, and no lie I always have to buy a can of sour cream pringles.   Dh usually eats most of it, but I love them so much that they get hidden sometimes.  Oh, and I'm the oatmeal eater in our house.

  • Just for me? Hm. The only thing I can think of is, DH is a coffee freak and buys ours from a little local place that roasts their own beans. They also have a lot of candy, and he always brings me home these peppermint ice cream flavored cordials. He doesn't eat them and I don't let the kids see them, but they make a great treat now and then.
  • Tootsie Pops. Nobody is allowed to touch my suckers! I'm addicted. Everything else is fair game.
  • Fridge- Coke, garlic hummus, and some kinda of go to ice cream, salsa too!

Pantry- Something chocolatey, tortilla chips and pita chips, and a can of soup.

I have never heard of or seen pre-made hard boiled eggs. How much does that cost? Why dont you just boil your own at the beggining of every week? Im not being snarky, as a SAHM on a super tight grocery budget this actually baffles me lolol.
