How I Know I am Loved:

Last night, I went out to buy a book that was supposed to hit the shelves yesterday.  Except, I live in the middle of no where, and the books are no longer restocked until the first Friday of the month.  I came home upset.  I was looking forward to the escape my book would provide from the stress of this remodel.  I pouted the rest of the night.

Tonight, DH & Xavian went to volunteer at the model railroad dispay at a mall south of here.  Before they come home, they always call.  Tonight, DH called, and when I answered the phone, he said this:

"I am standing in Wal-Mart, in front of the girly books, what is the name of that book you went out to buy last night?"

About 20 minutes later, the phone rang again,

"I'm in the Taco Bell drive thru.  Do you want a crunch wrap or something else?"

15 minutes later he called again,

"Do you want one or 2 Dr Peppers?"

5 minutes later,

"Hey, they have the peppermint oreos you were looking for.  Do you want one or 2 packages"

10 minutes later,

"We're on our way home!"

God love him, he won't be home for another 45 minutes, but he's bringing me the book, 2 taco supremes, 2 Dr Peppers, 2 packages of peppermint oreos, and a kiss.
