EZ diet girls

I'm planning on starting this in the new year (too many Christmas cookies in the house right now!). What's generally on your grocery list? Any meal or snack recommendations? How is it working for you? Thanks!

Re: EZ diet girls

  • Hi Orange!

Vanessagorc & I have been doing this since November 29th. So far I have lost 7lbs...but I refuse to weigh since I ate whatever I wanted over Christmas.

I snack on pecans, peanuts, cheese, pepperoni & grapes. Im not really a breakfast person so I don't really do breakfast.

For me the hardest was the 2st 2 weeks. I LOVE sweets & it really felt like that is ALL that I was craving. The grapes helped some with that as well as a glass of milk. Lately I have been doing the diet closer to atkins. It is pretty close to it to begin with but I feel like I have had better results by not adding the fruit or milk in there. There are days that I cave & eat the fruit & have the milk though. I don't feel guilty about it since it is on the diet. lol

Good luck & if you have any questions I will try to help!

  • Has anyone on here tried Medi-Fast? I was wondering b/c the docs say that I am insulin resistant and it makes it really hard for me to lose weight. I need something that virtually eliminates choices so that I don't succumb to the loss of will-power.

I thought someone asked their RE about this a while back and they said no because it is high in soy.  I could be wrong but you may want to ask your doc about it just in case.  South Beach, the EZ diet, etc are based mostly on eating whole foods, low sugars, less processed food, etc which is why they are acceptable, but I would definitely talk to you doc before starting a diet where food is provided as it tends to be highly processed and may have additives (like soy) that your doc doesn't want you to have.
