ok on Christmas night i went to the bathroom then i went out the car to get something for my husband and on my way back i felt a gush of discharged that soaked through my pants so we thought my water broke so we went to the hospital and i was having contractions every 1/2 hour and everything they done the test to see if my water broke and we found out i just peed my pants and didn't realize it i was kinda embarrassed just wondering if anyone else has done this

    Have you peed yourself and thought it was your water breaking, I think.

    OP- I'm sorry =( It hasn't happened to me, but apparently it's pretty common. Don't worry about it!

    I had a friend 4 yrs ago who thought her water broke because she had a HUGE gush in her panties (at work!). She got her DH out of work, got her friend who was going to be there out of work, and her son to a sitter and lo and behold: They told her she peed herself! LOL She was HUMILIATED! But then 2 wks later when her water really DID break at work, she waited until she felt contractions to go. THEN she called her DH to get her son to the sitter and her friend. LOL
