DS went from pooping 2 times a day to 6 or 7 times a day the past couple weeks. Its still normal poop and he is acting fine, other than the start of diaper rash from all the diaper changes. I'm not sure what it could be, or if its just he poops alot. Anyone else deal with this?

My guess would be teething. When Jack is teething his poops are almost always normal, but more acidic (and he gets rashy then) and way frequent. He is a twice a day pooper except for teething, then it is around 4-5.

Talk to your pediatrician about a probiotic maybe?

Thanks ladies! I will try to feel his mouth tomorrow, he has been chewing on stuff for and trying to bite, so maybe that is it! Its hard to get a good look though. I'll call the pedi too, at least to get something for the diaper rash.

teething, or my DS developed lactose intolerance and diarrhea was his only side effect. We took dairy out of his diet and the constant pooping stopped.
