Do you like the name "Jameson" ?

My husband really really likes it and i think it's finally growing on me. My first pick is Blake, but DH just isn't a fan. Out of curiosity, what do you guys think? It took us days (post delivery) to name our first 2 sons, so I'd really like to have a name ready for this next sweet little angel.

I love Jameson. One of my sons has that as a middle name. We combined Jason and James, and named after two of the men in our families.

That being said, I don't really like Jameson for you b/c you have a Jackson, unless you call Jackson, Jack. They're very similar. I also like Blake.

I LOVE that name. That was my #1 choice for a boy, however we are Jewish and in our naming tradition, we use the first initial of someone who has passed. Since my fiancee's mother passed, we wanted to honor her, so we had to choose and "M".

I like Jameson more than Blake. But it does sound a little to close to Jackson. Unless you are calling them Jack and Jamie, I wouldn't use it.

I have a friend who named her son Jameson and I love it. As others said though, it is kinda close to Jackson. I think it would cause a lot of confusion.

Love it! it's on my list of 3 names at the moment, but I HATE Jamie, which is making it hard to commit to. He would be Jay or Jimmy if we go with it.

FWIW, we both come from Irish families, so while they like it, they do comment on the whiskey reference (my Dad even said if he's born on St. Patricks Day, we HAVE TO name him that LOL)

We've also gotten the porn reference from a few friends (Jenna Jameson.)

I do, but like the other poster, I don't like it with Jackson as a sibling. I'm thinking of you signing cards - you, DH, Evan, Jackson, and Jameson. Evan seems like the odd one out. I love Blake.

I love this name... and the whiskey as well. My SIL named her daughter Bailey and they have the cutest pictures of her with a Bailey's bottle from her first Xmas.

I like the name Jameson although the first thing I think of is the Whisky. However because you have a Jackson I am not sure I like it; Jack and Jameson are a little too alcoholic sounding to me. However I am just an internet stranger so the important thing is what you think of it.

This is really funny to me, because my husband's name choice for our "first son" is Jackson, and his name choice for our "second son" is Jameson. We plan on having 4 kids, so the odds of having 2 boys is pretty high.
