Sharp pain...HELP!!

I am having sharp pains in the crease below my breasts and above my belly...it is like a sharp stabbing pain mainly below my right breast.  It comes and it goes but mainly happens when I am laying down.  Is it my skin stretching? , my bra getting too tight (even tho it still hurts when I am not wearing one), or is it the LO up that high?  This is my first pregnancy so everything is new to me except I can usually find an answer...this one I can not!  Anyone have any suggestions or dealing with it also??

    It seems like I might have something similar.  I mentioned it to my Dr. last week, and he said it could be the baby or it could be gas, or both.  He wasn't concerned at all.  When I spoke to the office yesterday I told them again, and they weren't concerned yesterday, either.  However, everyone is different.  If you're really worried, you can call your doctor.  They understand that we first time moms get really worried about everything and will happily answer your question. :)  Good luck!

    That specific spot can point to anything from trapped gas to gallbladder issues. For me, I was having stabbing pains there so bad I ended up at the hospital. For me, it turned out to just be constipation/trapped gas. I had no CLUE it could be that painful. In PG the intestines get squished up in that spot plus things just slow down. Have you been having regular BMs? Once I got on fiber and Colace it mostly abated. Call your dr.--no need to be miserable or take any risks!
