I took my last BCP on Sunday and go in for my baseline follie/suppression check on Friday. I am scheduled to start stimming on Sat. but that is with the assumption that I have AF by then. ( I think?)
What happens if I don't get AF first? Will they push everything back or will they just have me start to stimm anyways?
How long after you took your last pill did you get AF? I'm starting to get desperate here and may break out the voodoo tampon ![]()

I was wondering this same thing and asked when I scheduled my u/s. My nurse told me they don't really care if I get AF this cycle she also said it might be really light maybe even just spotting b/c of the lupron & progestin I'm on. Regardless I'll have my supression check next Wed. and if all looks good I'll start stims on Friday AF or no AF.
I would call your nurse line and ask, but I bet you'll be fine!
I took BCP for two of my IVFs. I had similar instructions as you (last pill on Sunday, call with AF or come in on Friday for suppression check). My nurse told me that it is possible I would not get AF between BCP and stims and that was okay. I think both times I ended up going in on Friday b/c AF hadn't shown up. My suppression check went fine and AF ended up showing up later on Friday. I was able to start stims on Sat as scheduled. But, i think even if AF didn't show up, I would have been set to go since my suppression check went well.
GL!
TI, IUIs, IVF = c/ps and BFNs
That's good to know !
My nurse is out this week and I don't like/trust the others (they have given me wrong info in the past).

My RE required a fresh "bleed" before starting stims and since she never showed, I had to wait a month. I know some REs don't require it but mine does. Good luck hun and I hope AF rears her ugly head soon!
If AF hasn't shown up by CD5 after stopping BCPs, I would go in for a suppression check on CD5. Based on my blood work, lining and ovaries, I would get to start stims that night.
Good luck!
