OMG, the gas!

So, I've discovered a new symptom the past few days -- really, really horrible and smelly gas. It is CONSTANT. I feel so bad for my husband. I've never had gas this bad in my life. I've been eating a little more fiber because things are moving slower than normal down there, but I normally eat a lot of fiber anyway.

Please tell me I'm not the only one!

Oh you're not alone! I used to be able to get away with a few silent ones every now and then but now that I'm pregnant they are loud and way more often. My DH doesn't mind because now he's not the only one but he's a dork like that. I knew gas was a symptom I didn't know it would start this early. lol

gas was one of my first symptoms. both ways...hah! I mean, I usually am gassy anywas, but this is beyond anything even I used to be capable of!

Not even close to alone!

That was one of the first things that I noticed about being pregnant this time around! I really don't feel bad for my husband because he's been "gifting" me with his own gas for years! It's payback time!!

No hunny you are not alone on this one. No matter what I eat or drink I am always super filled with gas. I know this sounds weird, but I do not burp so there is really only one way for the gas to go. Sometimes I get so gassy that if I put my hand on my stomach I can feel it. Like it moves my hand up a little. Almost feels like when you first start feeling the baby move. Also my gas is worse when I lay in bed for the night. lol

def not alone! I too have been having this issue. Sometimes it doesn't come out and I have cramping b/c of it

Guess I need more fiber!

Hehe, totally not alone. My gas HURTS too. It is really painful. Unsure as to whether or not gas or m/s is worse...

Lol. The week before we tested, I was so gassy that DH actually said "you must be preggos. You stink again"

Sure enough, it has only gotten worse! I blame it on the prenatal vitamins

You're not alone! I've had it since around 5 weeks, but I just started having gas pain to the point of cramping. It lasted 4 straight hours last night, and all I could do was adjust sleeping positions every few minutes. Ugh.

Me too! The movement in my stomach is so crazy, it seriously feels like a baby moving around in there! Too bad it is only gas... that never seems to let up... and we ate a bunch of black beans tonight. Maybe DH should sleep in the guest room.
