Infertility

What is your inspirational song?

I woke this morning to find out another one of my friends is pregnant. While I am so happy for her it still put me in a down mood. So on the way to work I turned on my "inspirational song" called So Small by Carrie Underwood. I love this song and the lyrics "while you siting 'round thinking 'bout what you can't change and worrying about all the wrong things, time's flying by,moving so fast, you better make it count 'cause you cant get it back" remind me to try to be happy with what I do have now. Does anyone else have any inspitational songs? I would love to add more to my list!

  • This might sound silly, and I don't know if anyone else will find it inspirational or it only applies to me.  Either way, when I would be driving to my monitoring appointments, the song Light Up The Sky by The Afters would play a lot of the mornings.  And when I was driving the sun would be coming up, so the sky would have this kind of glow.  I really felt like God was blessing the process for me.

  • Sooo cheesy, but I love it.  The Climb by Miley Cyrus.

    I can almost see it
    That dream I am dreaming
But there's a voice inside my head saying
    "You'll never reach it"

    Every step I'm taking
    Every move I make feels
    Lost with no direction
    My faith is shaking

    But I gotta keep trying
Gotta keep my head held high

There's always gonna be another mountain
I'm always gonna wanna make it move
Always gonna be a uphill battle
Sometimes I'm gonna have to lose

Ain't about how fast I get there
Ain't about what's waiting on the other side
    It's the climb
