Funny comments from the mouths of babes. Kind of long.
So this weekend I was visiting my cousin and her boyfriend for their son's baptism. He is only a month old and just precious. They also have two other children a daughter that is 7 and a son that is 6. The boyfriend is a divorce, so the older two children spend some of the time at their mom's house and it sounds like it isn't always the most stable situation.
Anyways, I was reading a book to them and the little girl was sitting on my lap. The baby kept kicking and she finally decided she didn't like getting kicked in the head by my stomach and to sit on my side. The little boy decided he wanted to feel it and was sitting on my lap and then turns to me and asks "Are you going to keep it?" in the most innocent way. It was just so cute the way he had asked. It really goes to show though how much more kids understand then we think they do sometimes.

Sounds like a sweet moment with two sweet kids and a good cousin (sweet of you to read to them).
But I must admit, it just makes me sad.

My parents divorced when I was an infant, so I have no recollection of them being together. I lived with my mom, but my dad was always a part of our lives, and picked us up on weekends, for vacations, after school, etc. Anyway, when I was 4, my mom's cousin had a baby, and I asked her boyfriend when he was going to move out. Everyone looked at me bewildered, and I said, "well how's he going to pick her up if he still lives there?!
