I'm going to attempt doing this before Baby #2 arrives in about 4 weeks...suggestions on what freezes well besides parmigian dishes ?( ie chicken or eggplant parm)
I made some chili this evening and am planning on saving some of it for after delivery.
I am also thinking of making a lasagne or a stuffed shells dish, but I'm not totally sure.
Baby Boy Born 3.15.11. 8lb 9oz, 21.75in.
6 month stats: 20lb 11oz (92%tile), 30.12in.(100%tile - who knew it went over 99th? Which means 100% of other 6 month olds are shorter than mine!)
I've been making extras of dinners etc. for about a month, lots of soups, stews, lasagna, marinara, butter chicken. I did a few different kinds of burritos the other day and also breakfast foods; muffins and quick breads frozen in slices.
Someone posted the other day about doing french toast in slices which I thought was a really good idea I might do that.
My cooking marathon is starting tomorrow. Went to the grocery store today and and am doing some prep work tonight such as chopping veggies. But here's my list:
