Eco-Friendly Family

I thought the EFFers might find this interesting, esp in regards to New Year's Challenges

I saw a quick blurb about it in my Eating Well magazine for this month - about a family's quest to not eat any processed foods for 100 days.  Their blog includes info on doing a 10 day challenge - which I think I might be up for.

As soon as all the cookies and pies are gone.

  • I think my body would go into shock if I didn't eat processed foods.  It's my downfall.

Haha... I hear ya.  But I'm a sucker for a challenge!

  • Oh, should we add this to the list of things for the challenges in the new year?

  • I'm up for it but as soon as I told DH no sugar, he said "I can't do that!" LOL

I think we'll try for a modified version where I can have coffee...

  • I totally think we should add this to the challenges - I would be up for sponsoring it or whatever you call it!

Oh!  There is totally coffee allowed - its the last rule on the DON'T list - drinks will be limited to water, 100% juice, naturally sweetened coffee and tea.  I couldn't go without caffeine!

And... well... no sugar doesn't mean no sweets!  Just no white sugar - think how creative we could be to find other alternatives!
