I met with one of my sister's good friends yesterday who will be starting IVF in one month. I gave her my journal which I kept through our three IUI's, 2 IVF's, and I FET for her to look through. I then wanted to recommend some good IVF books, but it has been SO LONG since I read an IVF book that I couldn't even think of a name of one good one.
Any recommendation that I could e-mail her?
Re: IVF book recommendations, please :)
i liked the ART of making babies by Dr. Sher and a couples guide to IVF which is a little old but good

Courage doesn't always roar. Sometimes courage is the little voice at the end of the day that says I'll try again tomorrow. ~Mary Anne Radmacher (thank you beadinglady)
It's been a long journey. TTC since 9/06. multiple IUI's and IVF's and 4 m/c's. IVF#3 = BFP, twins, induced at 34w6d due to baby b passing away (no explanation). Delivered on 35w1d, Baby A - baby girl, and Baby B - baby boy, our little angel.

The Couples Guide to IVF is by far my fave out of the books I've read. Others I've enjoyed: So Close, Tick Tock, and Unsung Lullabies.
I second Kyna (hey girl!) on How to Make Love to a Plastic Cup. DH loves it, and he is NOT a reader.
Books I would not rec: Empty Womb - Aching Heart, Budgeting for IF (common sense and Internet research), Navigating the Land of IF (Couples Guide is better), and Laughin'Fertility (not that funny).
