anyone have vibram five finger shoes?

i'm getting a pair for dh for his bday.

are they pretty true to size? all the places i've looked only have them in euro sizes. i've got a measurement of his foot in order to get the euro size (well, got a friend who has the same size shoe as dh to measure his foot) but i didnt know if i should still order bigger/smaller b/c of how they fit.

    I don't have any, but my H really wants them! We have friends who wear them, and I thought they were measured to fit. I know they fit very close on the foot. Sorry I'm no help. You are a good wife for buying them! I would be embarrassed if my H wore them in public!

    yeah the website says to measure your foot and then select the corresponding size. but i mean it's shoes for your toes, so i cant imagine they fit everyone perfect you know?

     but trust me, the man will not be wearing these with me in public :)

    eta: i like the new pic, i can't believe you changed it! you should've had a "changing of the siggy" ceremony or something.

    My husband bought himself a pair.  He LOVES them.  Says that his back and knees never hurt when he runs anymore.  Be warned, they activate different running muscles than most people are used to, so his feet/ankles/calves might be sore for a few days after he tries them.  That means they're working!  As far as size, I don't know what size he ordered but he used the sizing guide on the website to measure his foot.  He also found an outdoor store nearby that sold them so he could go take a look.

    Haha, I would like to claim I'm not enough of an AW to do that, but I really am. I made a post about it yesterday, but no one was here.

    Can you order them through a retail store, so he can take them back if they don't fit?

    Or better yet, get him Nike Frees instead? My H has been looking at those, and I hope they satisfy his interest in barefoot running so he never gets the 5 fingers!

    oh no. he actually wants the five fingers. he hikes and fishes and all that boy crap...so they are right up his alley, unfortunately.

    I have the Vibram Ksos. They are true to size for my running shoes.

    Regular shoe size = 6

    Regular running shoe size (it's not uncommon to go 1/2 a size up)  = 6.5 or EU 37

    My Vibram size = EU 37
