Went to the tack and feed supply

I think we're getting a couple chicks in the next couple months. I still have some research to do. But the place was really nice and it started up my want again for a horse. I think dh is really in trouble once we're completely settled into the area. He's gonna have to learn to ride. ;-) I can ride a motorcycle! It's a little give and take, right?

    We had a chicken as a pet at our old house - seriously the best pet I've ever had.  She provided eggs (not many clearly being only one hen) and she would let us hold her, etc.  She would run up to the back patio door when she heard us come home & we'd have to go out and give her some attention.  She'd also jump up on a woodpile that was on the side of our house up against the outside wall to the living room and peek in at us when we were watching t.v.  We still talk about that chicken all the time & hope to have a house with a bigger yard again soon so we can have chickens again.
