Wow- so excited I'm shaking!
I've posted about it before when other people have asked about egg donation, but 8 years ago I donated eggs to a lovely family who couldn't have children. They ended up having triplets and over the years we've occasionally exchanged photos of our children.
This family lives overseas in Europe and today I got a card in the mail from them. They are thinking about visiting the States this spring for the triplet's birthday and want to know if we (me, my dh and kids) would be interested in meeting them for a weekend in St. Louis (that's where the triplets were born.)
I'm so excited! Of course I would love to meet them, but omg- I'd be a nervous mess at the same time. Dd is too little for it to really matter, but I'd also have to do some explaining to my ds who would be very curious about my connection to these three kids who are just a year older than him.
I thought that this day might come when the triplets were adults, but never thought it would happen now!

That's so exciting! I knew you'd talked about donating before, but never knew that there were actually kids born as a result (and that you knew about them).
That's an awesome thing to be a part of, I hope it all works out to meet!
