Another newbie/lurker joins the group! Brand new to TTC and love all the good advice that I read on this board.
Couple of questions:
Is it worthwhile to chart but not temp? Maybe temping is the whole point, but I haven't yet read through the tutorial.
I can't find Taking Charge of Your Fertility on my Kindle.....has anyone else gotten it on thiers? (Mind you, I'm new to the Kindle as well) lol.
Thanks in advance for your support and advice. Good luck to each of you on your journey.
Re: An Introduction....:waves hello:
I have charted the past three cycles, and temped on all of them but this past one. I really regretted it...I only relied on OPK's and CM to tell me my O date, but if you miss your surge, you can't really know for sure. I recommend temping.
It will take a while to get used to, and can be a pain the first couple weeks, but it becomes second nature pretty quick!
Good luck, and make sure you read the Newbie link at the top of the page!
Welcome and GL As far as the Kindle goes, sorry I can't help you there.
But some chart CM/CP and not temp, some chart it all. Depends on the person. I like to temp. I tend to find it helpful. You might find OPK's helpful as well for when O is approaching. HTH
Welcome and GL!
I would recommend temping as it is the only way to confirm if you O or not.
I don't have a Kindle so I can't help you there sorry!
Also sign up for Fertility Friend (through any of our tickers) the ovulation calculator for the bump is not very accurate.
Hope your stay is short and sweet!
Welcome and good luck!
Yes, temping is the only way that you will be able to confirm Ovulation. I know it may seem like a huge deal, but it's really not.
I can't help with the Kindle question, I haven't joined the Kindle club. I like old fashioned reading!
:waving hello back:
I enjoy temping because it is something that I can actually do every day. I don't have a kindle so I can't help but I would like to know how you like it vs. reading a paper book.
I was always one of those people that didn't want anything to do with the Kindle because I love the smell and feel of a paper book in my hands. I'm really enjoying it though. It takes some getting used to for sure, but I love the convenience of a book in an instant and books are so much cheaper. Very easy on the eyes as well.
Thanks for the advice!
