Best day home lady ever!

So I'm full term on Feb 12 - my dh will only be home on his 10 days off until Feb 15, then he's away again for 20 days (or until he gets called to get his butt home for the birth of his dd lol)

The plan originally was that if he was away and I go into labor I would call my parents who are super close and they would watch ds and take me to the hospital and pick up dh from the airport. But now they are away until Feb 20... so there are 5 days when all of them are gone and of course if I have no plan I would probably have the baby then, lol

So I was tlaking to my dayhome lady about this and she's like if you can get someone to drive you here and the hospital I could call her day and night to take my son and watch him or if I need her to take me and hold my hand during labor her 14 year old daughter will watch C for me which is fine becuase she's the most mature 14 yr old I've ever met.

She's an amazing women and friend and I am so grateful to have her in our family's life.

soo, what exactly is a dayhome lady?

I believe in the states you call them in home daycares.. up here in Canada we call them dayhomes. Same difference just a small daycare with a couple of children being looked after by a caring adult.
