Ferbered-now two naps

I started a modified Ferber due to Paci issues at night three days ago....Since then my LO is now taking two naps (one to two hours).  One in the morning from 9-11 and the last one from 2-4 or 3-5.  I don't let him fall asleep again until it's time for bed, which has been moved up from starting his routine at 8:-8:30 to now starting his routine at 7-7:30 because he's tired from being up since his last nap and extra playtime.

He used to take three naps...morn, mid afternoon, and early evening.  

I stopped the paci cold turkey, so I know it's taking him longer to fall asleep, since I'm not just putting him down and popping the paci which makes him immediately fall asleep,

 Anyone experience different schedule after ferber? 

I'm hoping this ferber business works...he has not had his paci since saturday night!  But he is still crying a lot and fighting sleep.  I'm giving it one week. I don't mind him having a paci, but he didn't know how to fall back asleep w/o it.

    We have almost the exact same nap schedule as you do, but thats what it became after ferber. Before when I was putting her to sleep by rocking it was kinda random we didn't have a schedule, ferber helped me create a schedule for her. I had complete luck with ferber, it definitely helped LO get a schedule and fall asleep faster actually. I would fight her to take a nap for 30 mins before she would go down, now she'll put herself to sleep within a few minutes usually.
